When Adam and Eve decided to eat the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil they set in motion waves of concequences that continue to sweep through the world.  You and I  share the knowledge that Adam and Eve gained. You and I gained the ability to judge what is good and what is evil in our own eyes, instead of trusting in God.
